Boy or girl?
Is the Ramzi theory accurate for predicting gender?
Not reliably. The Ramzi theory guesses the sex from which side the placenta is on at about 6 weeks, and we found no peer-reviewed study that confirms it works.
The idea is that a placenta forming on the right points to a boy, and on the left to a girl. It’s popular online, and it’s easy to see why people want it to work, because it promises an answer very early.
If you want to know the sex early and reliably, NIPT is the most accurate option from about 10 weeks. It’s a blood test and is offered differently in different countries.

We found no study that tests this directly, so this answer rests on general biology and the lack of evidence for the claim.
